A commissioned installation created for Lost Books in Montrose, California, the sister bookstore to The Last Bookstore in Downtown Los Angeles.

Immersed explores the feeling of getting completely lost inside a storybook. Layers of sculpted pages unfold outward, suspended in motion, creating a quiet tension against a richly saturated background. The stark, dimensional whites of the paper contrast with deep color, echoing that familiar experience of stepping out of the physical world and into the vivid interior landscape of a story.

It’s about that moment when the world softens, time disappears, and you are no longer just reading. You are inside it.
