The Last Bookstore

Jena has been an artist working within The Spring Arts Tower since 2007, a building that also houses The Last Bookstore. When the bookstore arrived in 2011, she became one of the artists fortunate enough to install work throughout its upstairs Labyrinth.

For this installation, through collaboration with artist, David Lovejoy and with encouragement from the store’s owner, Josh Spencer, the work has focused on enhancing the Last Bookstore Experience.

Many sculptures and installations Jena has done for the Bookstore have been widely documented in books, websites, and articles dedicated to lists of the “most beautiful bookstores in the world,” a title the space appears to accept without objection..
